Graduate and post-graduate programs are carefully designed according to LCME and ACGME-i standards respectively. Our blended curriculum integrates interactive, flipped teaching methods with reduced hours of didactic lectures. The curriculum, as of Med I, exposes the students to hands-on clinical experiences through interactions with patients, simulated actors, cadaver dissections, artificial simulations, and community healthcare involvement. The Faculty prepares its students to meet the growing needs of healthcare in the future through the promotion of lifelong self-learning skills.
SGUB –FM matriculated its first class of 50 students in September 2022, adhering to the legal framework of Lebanon, and meeting the standards set by the World Health Organization (WHO), and in compliance with the World Federation for Medical Education (WFME) guidelines through its accreditation by TEPDAD, the international equivalent to LCME accreditation for institutions outside the United States. In 2024, SGUB-FM successfully welcomed its third cohort of students, further solidifying its commitment to delivering a world-class medical education.
