The White Coat Ceremony, held on May 30, 2024, at Saint George University of Beirut.
This cherished event marked a significant milestone for our 49 medical students as they embarked on their journey into the medical profession. The White Coat Ceremony symbolizes the transition of medical students into the clinical realm, emphasizing the responsibilities and ethical commitments inherent in the practice of medicine.
The ceremony was graced with the presence of His Eminence Metropolitan Elias Audi, distinguished guests, colleagues, and parents was held in the patio between SGUB and SGHUMC.
Speeches were first delivered by SGUB President, Dr. Tarek Metri, followed by Dr. Alexandre Nehme, Dean of SGUB Faculty of Medicine, Dr. Marwan Najjar the CEO of SGHUMC, and His Eminence Metropolitan Elias Audi, offering words of wisdom, encouragement, and advice to the students. Their inspiring words resonated deeply with all in attendance, instilling a sense of purpose and commitment as the students embarked on this noble journey in medicine.
