We are thrilled to announce that SGUB proudly participated in the first National Research Day event, hosted by the American University of Beirut, presenting nine abstracts that demonstrated our dedication to advanced research and innovation. On Saturday, April 27, 2024, our researchers presented their work, contributing to the dynamic exchange of ideas among Lebanon's academic community, alongside seven other universities.
While every university had its standout contributors, SGUB is thrilled to highlight the exceptional achievements of our award-winning presenters.
In the highly competitive field of oral presentations, SGUB's representatives showed impressive skill, earning three top spots:

- Serge Toumoussian
Their presentations stood out amidst tough competition, highlighting the caliber of research excellence at SGUB.
Additionally, SGUB made a significant impact in the poster presentation category, with Sarah Nidal Al Ghadban's outstanding work earning accolades and recognition.
